Have you ever been fed into a belief that has eventually come to nothing? Could you believe that you are being manipulated with all kinds of theories and false views that play a role in controlling your thought process and mind? The New Testament speaks about the day when the Wicked one is revealed in our day. "Even him, whose coming is after the workings of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusions that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
Oh, come on, is this a religious sermon? No. But it's about showing the truth, wherever it lies. To the early Jews and Gentile saints, a group came unawares into the church - which had an agenda - to destroy the doctrine and lead others away from Jesus Christ. Their heritage was in Christ. But they were led away into strong delusions, and there was a success with the Anti-Christs that led people away from the church, and there was a falling out.
Are we as prone today and easily deceived that we fall after the same things? The battle of belief within a target group is underway. You may not know it, but groups out there manipulate you into selective information to distort and twist the truth. General Michael Flynn called this 5GW - psychological operations or PSYOP, which "influence [our] emotions, motives, and objective reasoning in order to affect the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and individuals" (Introduction to 5GW, ch1, para. 1-7). That means someone else is assessing everything we do, say, think, feel, and believe. Have you ever had a conversation on the phone and said something similar to, "Hey, that's a good idea. We should do a BBQ shortly," then got on Facebook or Twitter and had an ad for new BBQ grills? That is an example of someone or AI assessing you and what you desire to do. And if it is that easy to manipulate you into buying a new grill, how easy is it to get you to believe in propaganda as a strong delusion that leads you away from reality?
This is precisely what is happening throughout the Conservative MAGA community over the past couple of years and it will continue to do so. There are narratives talking about Devolution, Law of War, the incorporated move of the United States, two constitutions, and so much more. There was another movement called Q with the motive to wake people up to the corruption to motivate and get people to action, yet at the same time the other theories in particular Devolution and Law of War, were to keep you idle, believing in a strange hybrid thought of reality and fantasy. These theories were developed to manipulate your thoughts and attitude without your awareness. Let me explain.
Devolution Is a Distraction The introduction to Devolution is about a guy trying to "figure stuff out." Through citizen journalism, one day, Jon came across a conclusion based upon a News Week article that he happened to be reading that Donald Trump initiated a Continuity of Government plan from a pandemic which could potentially affect all three branches of government: Judicial, Executive and Legislative. He says not to take his word for it, nor should we blindly follow him, but that is what he is trying to get you to do. He's gone through months and months of research, wants you to look at ALL of that research, then come up to the same conclusion and discover the same thing for yourself as to why he is right that Trump didn't just "walk away from the stolen election" (Devolution - Part 1, Jon Herold). And that same conclusion that he has come to regarding Devolution is real, not just a theory.
How does this shape your mind and manipulate your reasoning? Because he is targeting a group of people, MAGA, and you became the target audience to read and pay attention to his selected information to determine if he is correct. And your belief or non-belief is the intended action of him. If Jon can get you to believe him, then a military operation is going on, not for the COVID-19 pandemic, but for election fraud and Trump's ability to devolve the whole government, single-handedly centralizing all power over to the military under Devolution. Any who object to it then become the enemy. Your mind is precious and this is where they are taking the battlefield, and the goal is to get you to change the way you think, to manipulate your worldview so that you do not get involved in the battle over your rights and liberties, nor get involved in changing your country for the better. The end goal is to make you believe that the military can handle it all, to devolve your freedom and hand it over to military control, that is Devolution, and the same rhetoric of the Law of War Theory.
Do you love the lie more than the truth? "The military is in control," is the saying. "The military is going to save us" Jon argues. The plot of Trump devolving the whole government and handed all governing power over to the military while covertly running a top secret coup to take out "the bad actors" is the rhetoric. They hijacked the Q movement to control the narrative. And everything that is said is to manipulate your mind into confirmation bias of any research of government corruption that MAGA has done. That's where Devolution is.
The narrative is of a shadow government running the country until Trump will one day come out and reveal to the Nation the steps he HAD to take and why we went to such extremes. Why he set up and used a PEAD, why the Devolution had to take place, etc., and this has been the control of the narrative since June 2021.
It is dangerous and distracting. In a constitutional Republic, why would Trump, who is in charge of the military as a civilian, devolve the whole government when he is solely in charge of the executive branch? Does he have emergency powers to circumvent the Constitution and its constitutional form of government? No. See, a senate committee was created to investigate emergency powers given to U.S. presidents by Congress over the years. This was prompted by President Nixon’s actions during the Vietnam War. The committee found that presidents had been granted extensive powers during crises, like wars and economic depressions, but these powers were rarely revoked when the crises ended. As a result, presidents could use these powers without Congress’s approval. The investigation led to the National Emergencies Act of 1976, which imposed checks and balances on presidential emergency powers, ensuring more accountability and reporting future emergencies. Yet, somehow, President Trump devolved it and allowed the executive branch to continue without any oversight by the President or any other civilian counterpart in any leadership succession on his end violating the President Successive Act of 1947. The last line in Jon's "theory" manipulates your mind! "Donald Trump initiated a real and long-established Continuity of Government plan and left office on January 20th, but his return is imminent." Derek Johnson then ran with this theory of Continuity of Government bringing in the Law of War theory, putting Devolution on steroids with covert military operations all over the world. From the very get-go this theory states that this theory isn't a theory, but REAL and that gave rise to more theories and spin offs. It is no longer a theory and it is real.
You see, the strategy is blending in a hybrid scenario of irregular warfare, cyber warfare, current events, news articles, diplomacy, and Chinese interference in elections to influence your worldview on how you think, act, say, and do things. "Let the military take control. They'll save us! Trust the plan!" That whole concept behind all these theories is to lull you into false security and make you apathetic to your responsibility and duty to your community and Nation.
The power of belief and manipulation in our modern world is a topic of profound importance. As we've explored, the New Testament warns of strong delusions that can lead people away from the truth, and history has shown that various groups, movements, and individuals have aimed to manipulate and control minds for their own purposes. In our current age, the rise of misinformation, disinformation, malinformation, and psychological operations have raised concerns about the potential for mass deception.
The narrative of Devolution, Law of War, and related theories within the Conservative MAGA community serves as a poignant example of how belief systems can be constructed to manipulate our thinking and actions. These theories have been carefully designed to target specific audiences and shape their worldviews. The goal, it seems, is to make individuals believe that the military can handle all challenges and that relinquishing certain freedoms in the name of security is a worthy trade-off. This narrative not only distracts from the responsibilities and duties citizens have in a constitutional Republic but also risks undermining the very principles upon which such a system is built.
In a world where information is abundant and easily accessible, it is crucial for you to exercise critical thinking, skepticism, and a commitment to seeking the truth. We must be mindful of the information we consume, the beliefs we hold, and the sources from which we form our worldviews. The battle of belief is ongoing, and it is up to each of us to navigate it with wisdom and discernment. Value the truth more than the lie, and spend time reflecting on your actions, reflect on your dedication to preserving the principles and values upon which our societies are built.
